Ever since I tested out the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creme in Monte Carlo*, I have been hooked on these amazing matte lipstick kind of lip product. I noticed that NYX here in the UK isn't that easily found in store but mainly online as of yet.

I have been nipping into Boots nearly every week after work and always take a look at the makeup stands to see if anything SCREAMS at ME and Yells PICK ME PICK ME! There they were in the Collection stand where the Cream Puff Moisturising Lip Cream which state that they are Velvety soft, matt finish lip creme.

Collection Cream Puff in Cotton Candy £2.99, was one of the first shades of the range I wanted to try and test out. The Vanilla scented lip creme makes you want to eat your lips apart and I wore it to work and after 4 hours I checked myself in the mirror and it was still there. I felt like I found NYX Lip Cremes all over again just in different shades. When it comes to lipsticks, I always use a lip balm whilst i'm doing my makeup so when I get to the lips they are always moisturised and ready for the lip product. It glides on the lips with just one application and Cotton Candy is a stunning Blue-Toned Pink Lip Cream which tends to mattify into a gorgeous nude-pink shade which is gorgeous on the lip.

For the price of just £2.99, I do think these are well worth it and can't believe I haven't seen them around before. There are only four shades sadly a nude, brown and a coral to add to the range. I do feel that they should definitely come out with more shades as I would personally buy them all! I would love a fuchsia pink (we all love our bright colours).

These are my only exception to Lip Glosses. When I saw the NYX Lip Creme, I immediately thought it was a gloss and didn't touch it for days until I tested it and read that it was matte. These Cream Puffs are no exception, I will continue purchasing these babies as I love the Matte finish on the lips and last hours on the lips whilst keeping the lips moisturised underneath and are somewhat better than normal lipsticks that aren't matte. Remember Ladies, Matte Finishes do last longer than any other finish lipstick.
