Review

I had been seeing this all around Bookstagram & YouTube that I had to pick it up. Let's face it anything Vampire related is my jam! The writing was easy to follow, the "smut" was too hot to handle and Adrian was just a character you wanted to read more about and uncover his secrets and more about him.

With Isolde, you just turned each page to uncover why there was this bond which you couldn't understand, the reason why Adrian just "knew" she was the one when Isolde didn't. I probably would have read it in one sitting if I didn't have a 2 month old baby to tend to as it was just so easy to read and you just wanted to find out what happens next.

From accepting to marry the "Blood King" a day after you meet him in the woods, to a whole adventure in just two weeks before their "Coronation" where she becomes Queen to the Nine Kingdoms in her world.

Character-wise, I loved Isolde as she was literally the "warrior" first, "princess/queen" second. Adrian was the enemy "bad boy" that you just wanted to do all sorts with! Killian was that guy who wanted a girl who just didn't want anything to do with him so you felt a little bad for him as he was in love with someone who didn't reciprocate the same feelings, whilst Ana was the caring one who was always there when needed.

The Ending was quite an interesting outcome, and it made very much so that she was the woman born into another body from Adrian's past, that I was here for! I simply cannot wait for the next installment.

Overall, this book was what I needed to get out of a reading hiatus, due to giving birth just over 2 months ago to my little one and needed something to get me going again and this was just the right vampire smut, fantasy romance in an adult setting that I needed!
