It's Summer! It's my favorite season of the year as makeup brands always come out with colourful packaging and products that just make you want to go out and spend. Since living on this island, many brands aren't widely available here or to ship to Malta. In a months time this is going to change and moving to the UK can be quite scary for my purse. Opening emails and reading what's coming soon to a store near ME is quite exciting as I can just pop out to the store or even go online and purchase goodies and have them sent to my door.

Ted Baker Leda Wash Bag in Light Green £29: One Word, SWOON. I currenly have a little black Harrods Makeup Bag that i store some lippies and my Macbook Charger inside and I have been currently looking for a bigger Makeup Bag for my everyday makeup that will ideally sit on my Desk in the new place from next month in the UK. After seeing these wash bags live where Zoe from Zoella showed off her gorgeous Pink Number I checked out other colours and once I spotted this lovely green colour, I knew i would very much prefer it over the typical pale pink number.

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette £20: I know there is an urban decay palette for sale on the Easyjet aircrafts and knowing I am flying on one next month I am quite excited and hoping this is in that brochure. If i am not mistaken I am pretty sure one of the Naked Palettes is on there cause I was debating whether or not to get that or the Lady Gaga Fame Perfume that won the argument last January when I flew back to Malta after 4 weeks in the UK. The Basics Palette has 6 neutral shades that I for one feel that are day to day colours that can be used on any face. I already spotted a possible brow colour for my brows and do feel the size of the palette is decent to take around in your makeup bag on the go.

OCC Lip Tar & Brush £12: (Orphelia, Femme, Hush & Narcissus) These little "gloss" tubes make you think they are some sort of gloss and honestly I wasn't really interested in them in the beginning. Soon after doing some research and checking out some reviews online, I quickly fell in love with their staying power and pigmentation. They are more of a Lipstick then a gloss which is a huge plus for me and with the wide variety of shades, one can go nuts with imagination and creativity.

Tarte Amazonian 12-Hour Blush £17.50: This brand is very difficult to get ahold of if you aren't either from the US, Canada or Australia. I have seen many purchase these babies off Amazon, eBay, Blog Sales or from a swap a fellow Blogger. I fell in love with two particular shades in fact which were "Doll Face" and "Blissful". The pigmentation of these blushes are amazing and the colours are just perfect for Summer.

Real Techniques by Sam Chapman £9.99: These brushes hit the blogger/youtube world and everyone has been obsessed with them ever since they were released. I do feel that both Sam and Nic from Pixiwoo are a huge inspiration to makeup artists such as myself and other beauty bloggers/youtubers out there too. Having a successful brush line where the brushes are soft, cruelty free and perfect for certain techniques and products is just amazing. My two favorites and ones I do intent on purchasing are the "Expert Face Brush" and the "Blush Brush" both are flawless brushes.

MAC Lipsticks £15: I am a huge fan of their Lipsticks, no doubt about it as I have collected a total of 17 lippies from them. I do prefer the Satin and Cremesheen Finishes to the Frost and Matte ones. A quick reminder, if you do live in a hot country such as myself, DO put these in the fridge in summer. I did that mistake last year and CREME CUP did melt for me. I now store them in the fridge. Luckily with the current climate in the UK, I do feel i won't find the need to do this anymore. Staying on the subject of summer, Peach, orange and Pink shades are the go for Summer as many of us will sport that bright lip when the sun is shining on us.

NARS Bronzer in Laguna £26: Saving the best for last, I have been obsessed with contouring since watching how to apply bronzer the right way from Wayne @ gossmakeupartist. I do not leave the house without bronzer as it can really define your face. When i heard NARS was on 60% at IMATS i was crushed as I would have wished to have picked this up whilst roaming around the other counters, but I will indeed be attending next year especially the Friday for all the PRO Card Holders. Laguna is the perfect Matte Brown in my opinion I do like my bronzer to be dark but once blended it looks flawless with blush and highlighter.

A month tomorrow I will be flying to the UK, pretty exciting and I'm really looking forward to the opportunities for me as a makeup artist as well for the growth of my blog. I will try and document as much as I can on my journey and take you all along with me!
