Gerard Cosmetics Mist-Ified Hydrating Facial Mist

Facial Mist are a thing, Setting makeup nowadays is a thing, it makes makeup last longer!

If you have seen one of my recent YouTube Videos, you would know my love for the Gerard Cosmetics Slay All Day Setting Mists and how the scents are just the die for. Gerard Cosmetics have now recently released MIST-IFIED - Hydrating Facial Mist $22* the difference to the Slay All Day is that this new Mist is supposed to give you more of a Dewy Look.

It claims to keep skin hydrated and smooth. It also claims to keep the skin dewy while keeping the makeup fresh and radiant for hours. I honestly am more of a matte girl, since I have combination skin and an oily t-zone, I am not one for that dewy look.

This I did try to change it up when I used less mattifying foundations such as the Max Factor Skin Luminizer Foundation and once I had finished all my makeup, I sprayed this on top. (see below photo). I have to say it has more of a "wet" feeling once sprayed on the face, so I can tell where that dewy look is coming from.

Would I purchase this again? Is it my thing? Honestly, I love Matte - Dewy is gorgeous, but I most likely will be using it more once summer hits and will be in my fridge ready for that spritz of fresh sprayed onto my skin when I need it. If you are looking to keep your dewy skin dewy, this is your go-to!
