When it comes to The Body Shop, They always have a vast range of skincare to suit everyone's needs and there is no doubt the Drops of Youth Range is by far my favourite.
The Drops of Youth™ has expanded again and I could not wait to get my hands on The Body Shop Drops of Youth™ Youth Cream* £20/50ml. I have always loved The Body Shop, I even worked for the company which was my first job in the UK before moving onto working with Max Factor and Procter and Gamble. My Mother has always used their Vitamin E Cream and so forth and my sister and I have always been a fan of their Body Butters.
The Drops of Youth needless to say has always been a popular range and having the Bouncy Sleeping Mask already I knew straight away I'd love this new Day Cream. The consistency of the cream is a white light gel/cream formula which quickly hydrates the skin with a fresh citrus scent as soon as it touches the skin. The Packaging itself is gorgeous - Black lid with a green heavy duty glass outer, In my opinion this may be a bit tricky to take in hand luggage though but I am sure little sample pots will do well for small trips. It also comes with a seal which I do like when it comes to skincare.
What they say:
A velvety air-whipped moisturising cream to leave skin feeling smoother, more supple and refined with a youthful-looking bounce. Infused with a potent blend of 3 plant stem cells
Aqua/Water/Eau, Dimethicone, Glycerin, Alcohol Denat., Nylon-66, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Cetyl Alcohol, Salicylic Acid, Caffeine, Tocopherol, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Sodium Hydroxide, Parfum/Fragrance, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Disodium EDTA, Adenosine, t-Butyl Alcohol, Linalool, Eryngium Maritimum Extract, Leontopodium Alpinum Callus Culture Extract, Citronellol, Crithmum Maritimum Callus Culture Filtrate, Orbignya Oleifera Seed Oil, Myristyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Limonene, Citric Acid, Xanthan Gum.
Overall, I have used this product daily for 5 months and have nearly reached the end of the Tub. My Skin Type is a mixture of Combination/Sensitive and this cream has been a breath of fresh air, lightweight and fresh is a way to describe it. If you were to ask me if I would repurchase, I would say definitely - I think this with the Bouncy Sleeping Mask would be the perfect duo for day and night creams. I would give this Product a 4.5/5 as I do think the glass tub isn't suitable for travel and could break and be harmful, other than that a fabulous product from The Body Shop as Always.
