Sea View Cafe in Mellieha, is a little cafe bar overlooking amazing views of Malta. We visited once last year but since then we haven't visited again until recently. I had been on their Facebook Page and saw they had these amazing Freakshakes which are the next best thing to Milkshakes! The one you see above is their Cookie Freakshake, they have all kinds like Kinder & Donut. This Freakshake in all it's glory, because why not - you need to capture it before you devour it right? Cookies, Caramel, biscuit bits, cream and ice cream all mixed into this mason jug. Let's just say it was my dessert and it was amazing!
When it comes to food, you're spoilt for choice here, it's a self service cafe where you have the menus on the table and sit down not have to wait to be seated. Once you've decided what you're eating - you pop on over to the window and order your food. They give you a bill with a number and once it's ready they shout out the number for you to go and collect the food. They have someone on standby to clean tables which is great.
Back to the food section, for breakfast you can either opt for the classic english breakfast or opt for sandwiches, ftiras or wraps and you can also have them toasted. They have other items on the menu including Pizza, Salads, Burgers and more. I went for the Club Classic on white toasted bread which consisted of chopped chicken breast, salad and bacon. Ryan opted for a ftira with egg and bacon. We had a portion of crisps with some salad on the side also which was a bonus.
I took out my trusty Louis Vuitton Alma Pm today. It's been on my shelve for a couple of months since I don't like using it much in the winter as I didn't protect the vachetta on this bag so it can get stained with rain spots if it's ever caught in the rain. I've been loving the Aperol Spritz recently this summer and it has been my go-to if no one's having wine so i'm not there drinking a whole bottle to myself. It's a refreshing drink and perfect for the sunny summer days.
Overall, I'd rate Sea View Cafe a 4.5/5 - It's peaceful, not busy and you see wonderful views of Malta beneath.
